Commercial Vehicle Parking
I was under the impression that work trucks are not allowed to park in this complex. I have noticed a white work van that is very big parked here. It looks like the owner moves it every couple of days. What can we do to have this vehicle removed to allow parking for residence vehicles only. I parked a work vehicle her for a weekend in the past and had tow stickers put on it. What is the deal?

I was wondering the same thing. There are actually two trucks. One has been parked in the same spot for at least 4 days and has a "For Sale" sign on it. At what point can we have these trucks towed?
Is there a number we can call to have these trucks towed? Why do these trucks and vans get special treatment to park within a RESIDENTIAL PARKING ONLY lot?
I understand towing vehicles that appear to not be in-use, but to tow trucks/vans that residents use as a means to pay their bills...Wow, now that's community support. I don't agree that they have any more special treatment then the next guy.
I used to park a company truck here. I was on call and needed direct access to my truck at all hours. Nobody stuck up for me! As a result of not being able to park my work truck here I lost my job. What makes you so different that you are allowed to park YOUR work trucks here? I think if its not OK for me, Than its not OK for you to park your trucks here!
Referring to the comment above @ 12:40 pm. I was merely attempting to enlighten the residents of Park Ridge that some of the residents use their vehicle to support the community rent, mortgage, HOA, etc. A simple paradigm shift in their way of thinking, “Seek first to understand, then to be understood” may have swayed them from prohibiting you from parking in the resident’s parking lot. Its unfortunate you lost your job due to not being able to park a vehicle where you reside - hence my comments. As for myself I don’t use the parking lot, nor do I drive a company vehicle, I use my garage.
I want to get one of the car ports. Does anyone now how i go about this?
I think if you live here and pay rent or a payment your have a right to park you work vehicle here. My work vehicle is my car. What makes me more special than the person who drives a company truck and goes out every day unless he is sick. Why don't you people just shut up and tend to your own rat killing. Does anyone know the scriptue that says "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" ? Evidently not.
No, business vehicles are not allowed to be parked here (per the CC&Rs), but if the board doesn't care to enforce it, what can you do?
Ah,
The parking thing, many residents have more than one vehicle and the garage is used as a Storage, others well just don't care, and I'll be on the board side just because I like to defend them, well Kim I don't think that they don't care, but it gets personal,we, people like our freedom but no rules, rules are complicated we might think.
Have you been a part of the board?
I would love to see you there and I will support you to the end of the term.
I have an idea as well and I volunteer to help with this matter, If you happen to know a resident who parks a commercial Truck please let me know so, I can send a friendly request to park on the street, I'll take the heat, contact me at johnlguerito@aol.com
My name is Golda, the mexican, to serv you, the community and this great Nation, Best Regards.
