Information on Garage Project?
Does anyone know what is going on with the garages in the back of the complex? I have a garage back there and am concerned that I might have to empty it out. Can someone please let me know. Are they just empty?

If you are a home owner you received a notice recently that your HOA dues are increasing because of the slope erosion/garage damage near the 57 freeway. Garage units #112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117,118, 119, 120, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 2 & #3 are affected. Those garages will have to be completely vacated for a period of time and more information will be sent directly to those home owners. It is made very clear that no compensation will be give for any costs associated with this move or storage needed. Any garage door openers must be removed as well.
I hope that helps,
Howard
Ok. Thanks for the response. As I am not a home owner, and our owner lives states away, I am not privy to any information about this community. Again thank you for the response.
Why are homeowners being forced to pay for what was likely caused by the 57 freeway and all the construction CALTRANS is doing right on the other side of the wall?
Is this work going to continue down the entire row of garages? Are they just fixing what is needed or are they being converted to parking stalls only?
Can we please get an update on the garages? They were supposed to be ready by mid-November, which is almost here, and no one has worked on them for weeks. They are ribboned off with yellow tape and it looks absolutely ghettolicious! UPDATE PLEASE?
as usual no response. Not to cool to be a renter here!
I suppose you are the person who previously wrote that you were ticketed therefor the association is lying. That is an interesting leap. Just maybe a parking officer did not get the memo?
I would suggest calling the Fullerton PD and politely telling them about the Rolling Hills exception during the 57 freeway expansion (until Jan 31st 2012) and asking what the procedure is to have the ticket reversed.
Good luck
